"Dinner with Cinderella"

Sorry this has taken so long. So after our amazing experience watching the shuttle take off, we headed inside for our "dinner with Cinderella". We were still early so the girls kept themselves busy dancing to music in the lobby. When I say lobby, I mean this beautiful, huge five story high open room with disney music being played live by an awesome band---Let's just say that disney knows music. Check out the photo below- it is a picture of the ceiling- so beautiful!

When the time came and we were seated - they seated us up front and center to where the characters come in. It was an wonderful time. We are talking five star quality food. ( translation= Big time Yummy!) It was an awesome show and to be able to meet the different characters as they came in was incredible . Samantha was quiet taken with Prince Charming. Mackenzie loved Cindy but she found the "mean sisters" funny. At one point they were teasing the waitress and dancing around her. They were also teaching two young girls how to throw a proper fit- until their daddy took them away- we were laughing so hard it was so funny. Later they were picking on Prince Charming. (See below)

The girls had a blast dancing and playing with all of them. when we were almost done eating they gathered around our table- the whole cast and managers- and presented to Chris a "Welcome Home" cake and card. It was AWESOME. He was so embarrassed. They had asked me when I made reservations if it was a special occasion. I had told that Chris would be coming home right before we came down there. That was it- they said nothing else to me about it. So I was just as surprised as he was. The cake was so special and it had a white choc. castle on it and they also presented him with a huge card that was signed by the cast and numbered. They all told him thank you for serving and that they appreciated what he does. It was such a special perfect moment. Then they asked if we would like to after dinner come outside for a private meet and greet with the cast and a chance to take private photos. We were floored to be honest. It was such a privilge and once in a lifetime opportunity we thanked them and finished dinner. By the time we were done eating it was so late that most of everyone had left and the girls were running around the room playing with the "mean sisters" and having a truly Royal time.
When we left there Chris and I just looked at each other in shock. We knew the girls would have a magical experience but we did not expect to have one as well. Let me say this- WE DID! It was truly a magical day and to top it off the girls were out! They slept the whole way back to the room they were so tired.
Can you say " I believe in magic" ??

This post made me cry. I blame it on pregnancy hormones.
