So we had one crazy busy week. It was great being with the kids every night and teaching all of these children about our wonderful God. It truly was a blessing to see these kids eager to learn all about God. Sun- Friday was VBS and Fri was a great end to a wonderful crazy week.
Chris and I had planned months ago to have our Sunday School over for a cookout at out house and you guessed it Sat was the day. So not only did we pick the longest hottest day of the year to gather everyone we also just finished with VBS. What were we thinking? To top it off Sun was going to be Father's Day.
We had a blast. We had all kinds of kiddo pools, slip-n-slides, a moon bounce and games for the kids (we had 14 ) and I am not sure how many adults--- but let me tell you baptist eat. We have had birthday parties, and coffee's and other friends over for cookouts but this was the first church cookout and baptist eat. We had a blast and really enjoyed the fellowship in spite of it being so hot.
Also a close friend of mine was here, one I have been witnessing to. My SS teacher was able to talk with her for a while at the kitchen table with a few of us joining in and I believe that her heart is open. She came with her husband and kids the next day to church and they said they really enjoyed it and would like to come back. YAY!!!!!! I have been praying for her and I ask that you do to. Over the next two months she is going to have a very trying time and I would ask that you please lift her, and her family specifically her older daughters ages 10 & 9, up before God. Pray that God's hand of protection is over those girls.
Well we had an interesting night Sat night because when everybody left to go home and we were settling down for bed we discovered our AC quit running. So we had an interesting camp out in the living room floor that night. It was so hot upstairs so we slept down and the girls loved it and then with it being Father's day Sun we couldn't have anyone come out. But the Lord answered our prayers and on Mon. a man was here and it did not cost our first born ( which some days I would not mind : ) J/K) Nor did it cost an arm or a leg. Praise Praise be to a merciful God. It ended up being a somewhat easy fix ( again PRAISE Him!!) . So we have been going going again, but now things are slowing down and we are enjoying the day to day pace again.
Miss you all!
Hey Laurie when are you coming to town?? Can't wait to see you, Mia and the belly!
May God's Grace touch you today in a new way.
With love-- Connie

Hey Connie! I'm coming to town around July 6th/7th through possibly the 21. Maybe shorter time though. We will be there at least 7 days, possibly 14. I'll be looking for something to do for about 3 hours in the mornings on occasion, so expect to hear from me soon!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!
give me a call on my cell! Or email me if you have it. Are you still in Florida?
